Free Beginners Lessons
We are offering two FREE beginners lessons on Saturday April 13, 12:30pm and 2pm
We’ll loan you a Ukulele and teach you three basic cords, and strumming techniques. You’ll be able to play a popular song within an enjoyable fifty- minute lesson. Receive a complimentary three cord songbook with lesson notes. Affordable Kala starter Ukuleles will be available for sale so you can start attending Tampa Bay Ukulele Society (TBUS) events throughout Tampa Bay.

We have two great workshops to help you improve your ukulele playing and performing skills
Advanced Workshops on Saturday
1pm - Famous Intros: Hosted by the always entertaining Kirk Jones. Learn to play the intros to 10 iconic songs: Sweet Caroline, Stand by Me, Pretty Woman, Hotel California, My Girl, Dream On, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, and more, plus requests. Suggested for confident beginners and above.. Complimentary refreshment break.
2:30pm - Creative Song Arrangement & Improvisation: Hosted by Andy, Kim, Clark & Stacie of The Birdwatchers. Keep your listeners fascinated the whole way through a song! Learn the basics of soloing with major scales, learn to add tricks to bring variety to any song: structure, harmony, strumming, picking, chucking, and lots of energy. An invaluable and entertaining session for all levels who like to solo or just jam in groups.
Workshop Ticket Choices:
$40 - Gold Pass includes Morning breakfast Jam with Dunkin Donuts, coffee and more; two advanced workshops and refreshments break; $20 dinner certificate for Dining in the District; VIP seating for the evening concert. Only 50 available.
